The Art of Breathing: A Pranayama Journey

Designed for practitioners of all levels who wish to explore Pranayama as a path of embodiment rather than performance.

We invite you to breathe less, sense more, and remember the quiet intelligence that already lives within you. This is a rare opportunity to rediscover the “essential breath”, that natural, healing rhythm that supports the body, stabilizes the nervous system, and reconnects us to an innate sense of ease. Rather than viewing Pranayama as a series of techniques to control the breath, we approach it as a practice of listening and allowing. The essential breath is not something we create; it is something we remember.

A Week of Integration and Presence

Over the course of seven days, we will gently peel back layers of habitual tension to refine our sensitivity to the subtle movements within. Our curriculum balances dedicated Pranayama and Asana sessions (Yoga postures) with Darshana (philosophy) classes, all designed to foster a profound felt sense of inner space. Your journey is supported by the tranquil environment of Shanti Lake.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

The transformation is supported by the land and the table. Our culinary team prepares vibrant, plant-based, and organic meals twice daily, brunch and dinner, using fresh ingredients that ground and sustain your energy.

During your personal time, the entirety of Shanti Lake is yours to explore. Whether you find clarity by the water’s edge, warmth in the sauna, or a quiet moment in one of our many “cosy corners,” the environment is an extension of the practice itself—a sanctuary for returning to your true nature.
